Please! I need to make a very good menu. How can I obtain it?What are the factors I should consider?
factors you should concider:
1 what group of people does your restaraunt target? like who will be most likely to stop by, are you close to a theatre or a baseball field? a mall maybe? all these tings can influence what kinds of people might walk in to your place and what it is that they may want.
it’s also nice to get aquainted with the competition in your area and see what it is that they are serving. what kinds or restaraunts are missing in your area? is it all italian? maybe you could do a contemporary american menu
also think about what you are good at or your main chef. what are your culinary backgrounds? its not a good idea to just take on a specific style of cuisine that you don’t know anything about.
so what i would suggest is don’t use too many ingredients, look for fresh local items that maybe you can make a local specalty or a house favorite. look for things that are easy to find , on the durable side( you don’t want food items that are very perishable that will cost you alot of money in the end), and something that you would want to eat yourself. if you have some ideas and don’t know how well they will go over how about inviting people to do a taste tast to get their input on the dishes. ultimately they will of course decide what will be the best things to put on your menu allways look for customer input whenever possible they are your ticket to success
