How can a restaurant pay bussers and dishwashers under the table?

I was in between jobs. I went to a restaurant in Oklahoma to be a dishwasher. The employees told me that the owner signed an agreement with the Oklahoma Tax Commission that he does not have to put his employees on the payroll. Actually the waitresses are probably paid under the table too. My friends at other restaurants say that they have never heard of the agreement that you can sign with the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Does anybody know how a company can do this? Is this true in any other states? How do i notify the legal government in this situation. What is the phone number?

This is an awesome opportunity to make some money for you. You can go to the IRS website and fill out form 3949-A which you can grab from http://www.irs.gov/compliance/enforcemen…
If you read IRS Publication 733 which can be found on the www.irs.gov website and fill out form 211 you can even possibly get yourself a reward.

This guy is a scammer and he’s placing the employees at risk of also being included in the tax fraud. You cannot pay or get paid "under the table" without commiting tax fraud. So turn him in and get paid.

How can I get a chain restaurant to build a location in my town?

Our town doesn’t have a single "sit down" supper type of chain restaurant. We have a decent sized college, 5 or 6 bars that get packed every night, a computer software company that employs over a hundred people, but no one to really finance purchasing an entire franchise.
Are there restaurants that will just place a business in a town much like WalMart does? I’m pretty sure you can’t buy a "WalMart franchise"…
Is there a group of, like, venture capital people who will consider investing in restaurants?

Wal-Mart doesn’t franchise.
And some restaurants are company owned.
The best place to start is go to their website, and find the person in charge of public relations.
But before you do that, get some "clout" behind you.
Talk to your city councilman, chamber of commerce, and an economic development department if you have one.
This will get more persons with experience in this area involved in your idea, and may give you an edge in convincing a company to invest in your community.
Good Luck 2U!

What type of restaurant would you need a resume?

I am looking to apply at possibly Olive Garden or Fridays. Do I need a resume? I know its not a high-end restaurant, but I live in a college town and the competition is high.

If I write a resume, should I include how much in tips I made per night at the restaurant I worked at in high school and while I was in community college? I worked at a steak n shake and made really good tips. My friend said including this on a resume would show I was a good waitress.

you always need to furnish a resume and make your friends as your referrals. resume is a must in a employment opportunities.

There is a place that I love, it is inside of a gas station that serves "Krispy Krunchy Chicken", but they aren’t always open or don’t always have them. And I just wanted to know where else they have them, so if I send someone out or go to a restaurant I will know which ones to get and which to pass, because once you’ve had a good one, ya don’t want a bad one.

they are a frozen food product and the only way bad is if overcooked. tgifridays and chilis does good job

If you live in Winnipeg and know a nice restaurant near the forks thats what i am looking for. Thanks!

The fanciest is probably Sydney’s. Beachcombers has a great menu full of different fish dishes. Muddy Waters Smokehouse and The Current are also good choices. You can view their menues and other restaurants at http://www.theforks.com/298
