Tomorrow for lunch I am going to this organic vegetarian restaurant. I want something low calorie, but I don’t want a salad because that’s really boring. They offer a lot of wraps, pitas, sandwiches, and black bean chili. What should I order? I know you can’t really help cuz I don’t have the menu, but can you tell me how many calories would be in the vegetarian black bean chili if I get it without cheese, without nachos, and without sour cream?

Black bean chili shouldn’t set you back more than 400 calories and it’s pretty good nutritionally, but of course I don’t know their ingredients or portion size. That said, I think a better option would be a roasted vegetable pita or wrap with some feta cheese – that way it’s not boring and you get your protein too.

What is the most authentic Italian restaurant in Atlanta, GA?

I live in Atlanta and feel there is a lack of a truly authentic and really good Italian restaurant. What is the best Italian restaurant, comparable to a NYC restaurant, in Atlanta?

As an Italian, and while not from New York City (but have had the pleasure of eating my way through Little Italy several times), agree with Meredith on Frankie’s as a very good choice. However, my personal favorite is another East Cobb location called LaStrada on Johnson Ferry Road. It’s much smaller and really gives you that Little Italy, down in the basement, real thing, feel…but, it’s the food, good wine selection, value pricing and we’ve always had excellent service, that keeps us going back.

The last time i went new york this my family and i asked the cab driver what is the best italian restaurant in manhattan. He told us this place called manga y bebe. We went there and tried it and it was the worse italian food i have ever tried in my life!!!! I took two bites and told the waiter to take it back. So I plan to go back to nyc next spring so can anyone please suggest a good italian restaurant?

There are over 500 Italian restaurants in NYC … hard to pick the very best one, there are so many. It depends on what type of Italian food you like.
Babbo at 110 Waverly Place in the W Village has 4 stars from critics.
Then there’s Baldora in the theater district at 249 W 49th. His dad owns Rao’s but you have a better shot at getting a table here. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

You can also take a look at restaurant.com where you can get a $25 coupon for $10 … you just put in the zip code and the list of local choices pops up.

You can also check out reviews in New York Magazine

if you have to ask that question on here, then, no offence but you shouldn’t open a restaurant/bar
